New Delhi: The Supreme Court has come down heavily on former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma's petition during the hearing today i.e. Friday. In fact, the highest court in the country said, "Nupur's verbiage is responsible for the Udaipur incident. She should apologize to the country.'' After the court's decision, the Congress targeted the BJP, saying that "this is a slap on the face of the entire BJP regime." In fact, after the decision came from the Supreme Court, Congress said through a tweet, ''The Supreme Court has strongly reprimanded Nupur Sharma, the suspended spokesperson of BJP, saying that your statement spoiled the atmosphere of the country, should apologize on TV. SC also refused to hear Nupur Sharma's application. This order is a slap on the face of the entire BJP government.''

At the same time, on the court's decision on Nupur Sharma's statement, Gopal Rai, a minister in the Delhi government, said, "The situation that has arisen in the entire country today, there is a situation of fear in the mind of every countryman and today the way an atmosphere of hatred is being created among the society and between religions, If it is not stopped, it will take a terrible form.'' He further said "I think the time has come for any government, any party person, any religion or caste, if he makes such statements, then strict action should be taken against him. There is nothing bigger than the country and society and those who break it should not be spared.''

Let me tell you all that today the highest court of the country said that Nupur Sharma should apologise to the country for his statement. His statement posed a threat to the security of the country and the statement itself caused unrest across the country.
