Patna: There are reports of crime from Patna day in and day out. Recently, the operator of a nursing home in the river police station area of the city here tried to rape the nurse. The case is said to have been reported last Friday night. Police have arrested the operator after a complaint was lodged with the police station in the case. The nurse from the Nalanda district was reportedly working in a private nursing home in the Pakki Dargah area for the past ten days. In the case, the victim also said that operator Sanjeet reached there last Friday night while she was resting in a room in the nursing home itself.

He slammed the nurse on the bed for allegedly raping her. Somehow the victim got out of her clutches and reached the patient's room but the accused reached there too and started assaulting her. The victim was also injured in the assault. In this case, a family member of the patient informed the river police station and the patrolling police immediately reached and rescued her. The arrested operator is Munmun Kumar alias Sanjeet Kumar of Rampur Diyara and describes himself as the operator of the nursing home. Police say they have rushed the victim home safely.

In this case, river collector Dharmendra Prasad says, "The police station team was patrolling near the spot. In the meantime, when they got the information, Police reached there. The victim has alleged an attempt to rape her. Police have arrested the operator of the nursing home.'' Police say he was under the influence of alcohol and may have tried to do such a thing while drunk.
