Kolkata: Nusrat Jahan is counted among the beautiful actress of the Bengali film world. Apart from acting, she is active in her political career. Recently, Trinamool Congress MP Nusrat Jahan criticised BJP on Thursday by calling it even more worse than Covid-19 crisis in terms of harming people. While addressing at an inaugural ceremony of blood donation camp at Chandpur of Deganga in North 24-Parganas, the actress and MP said, "Do you all know what is more harmful than Covid-19? It is BJP. The reason is they do not understand our culture and they cannot give value to humanity". 

Nusrat criticised Bhartiya Janta Party for not giving values to hardships and hard work of the people. She further continued her attack on BJP and said, "The party only know business and nothing. They have lots of money. They are distributing cash at different places. Do you all know what they do after giving money? They create riots among people. Their hands are stained with blood." 

Nusrat further criticised the saffron party (BJP) for its divisive politics. While addressing she assures the people that TMC leaders and workers will stand beside people anytime in case of any trouble in their houses. MP further said, "BJP cannot extend such support as they bring leaders from different far off places like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. You will meet or get them only twice in a month. It is a very important aspect to consider as you will get no one beside you for support. So do not support BJP."
