Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu O. Panneerselvam will be returning back to Chennai after the protestors in Madurai didn't even allowed him to enter at the place where Jallikattu event was going on. He didn't even inaugurated the event here.
The protesters want a solution in bull taming sport Jallikattu. The Chief Minister has assured that the bill will be introduced and passed in State Assembly. He said “The government will bring the draft of a permanent law on Jallikattu in the Tamil Nadu assembly soon,”
He has even urged people to withdraw their protest. In various parts of the state, the traditional sport of Jallikattu began.
