Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, has given his approval to a proposal allowing people from the reserved category to apply for government jobs even if they don't have an OBC, MBC, or EWS certificate.
If they do not have a caste certificate for any reason, members of the other backward class (OBC), most backward class (MBC), or economically weaker section (EWS) may submit an affidavit in order to apply for jobs.
This decision will help a lot of candidates who participated in the various recruitment exams held this year, it continued.
The circular, which was released on January 20, stated that candidates for the reserved category must have the certificate issued by the appropriate authority before the deadline for submitting applications.
Since the vacancy announcements for the Livestock Assistant Direct Recruitment Examination in 2021, Junior Engineer Direct Recruitment Examination in 2022, and Patwar Direct Recruitment Examination in 2021 were made before January 20, 2022, it said there were questions about whether this circular was being followed.
