Odisha FC, the team of the Indian Super League (ISL), on Wednesday announced a deal with left-back George de Souza. George, a resident of Goa, started his career with the Sesa Football Academy. After this he played for Sporting de Goa. De Souza has a two-year deal with Odisha FC.

Odisha FC President Rohan Sharma said, "We are happy to welcome George. He was in our eyes long ago. He has done brilliantly in Goa Premier League. I am confident that George will prove himself here."

After joining Odisha FC, George said, "I am very happy to have signed with Odisha FC. I am excited to play for the club in the ISL. It is a good promotion for me. I hope that I will be in the upcoming season I will contribute to the success of Odisha. " Odisha FC made their ISL league debut in 2019. In the table of 10 teams, she was ranked number six last season.
