The Odisha government has tightened its back to control the corona infection. The Odisha government has tested corona of more than 1 lakh people in the last two days. The state government is putting more emphasis on the process of controlling and improving the corona.

The state government is soon going to cross some important milestones of one million total tests. Odisha Government has to say that the rate of corona has decreased in the state. This was 9.2 percent last month, which has come down to 5.5 percent this month.

In the last two days, 14,953 people have been tested corona in the Ganjam district of Odisha and this is much higher than other states of India. There is a continuous increase in the corona cases in Odisha. In the last 24 hours, 2,924 new cases of corona have been reported in the state and 10 people have died. Of these newly infected cases, 1,815 people are from the Quarantine Center and 1,109 patients have been found corona infected from the local area. Talking about the present time, the total number of patients of corona infection in the state has crossed 60,000 and the death toll has reached 343. According to the information given by the State Information and Public Relations Department, out of 2,924 infected corona infected patients, the maximum number of patients i.e. 488 patients are from Khurda District alone.
