Go Goa Gone, the 2013 zombie comedy that starred Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Pooja Gupta and Vir Das was termed as the unique project of a plot which was never tried before in India. The name is now going to become a franchise as Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst officially announced the plans of the sequel and reported that from February 2019 the project will be on the floor for shooting.

The movie will be in the direction of the same director as its predecessor. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK directorial have represented Saif Ali Khan Boris, a zombie hunter and as per his verdict, the sequel will also have the same role for him. Kemmu and Vir Das will also be seen in the second part with some additional characters.

 

 

Notably, before this official confirmation, the lead role Saif has also revealed once that “We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script.”

For characters and actors, he expressed: “The other characters played by Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das will also be a part of it. We start filming next January.” As per reports director is in search of an A-list actress for supporting role who will assist Saif in the mission.

Saif also presented his views on why he choose the movies as “Raj and DK have a unique sense of humor. Like the earlier movie, this one, too, will be equally quirky. That’s what drew me to it when they discussed the idea with me.”

Curious, no? Obviously, the movie has entertained a lot with its unique plot. Let’s see it can be a good franchise or not.
