Expressing objection to the statement issued by the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) regarding the violence in India on Ram Navami, India has termed it another example of their communal mindset and anti-India agenda. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has criticised the OIC, saying, "We strongly criticise the statement issued by the OIC Secretariat regarding India." This statement of the OIC shows their communal mindset and anti-India agenda. There is another example as well.

The OIC issued a statement on Monday saying, "The OIC expresses deep concern at the acts of violence and vandalism targeting the Muslim community in several states of India amid Ram Navami processions. Aside from this, the library has also been set on fire. The OIC condemns such acts of violence and vandalism. OIC calls upon the Indian authorities to take strong action against the perpetrators and ensure the safety, security, rights, and dignity of the Muslim community in the country."

The OIC works at the behest of Pakistan and India. The Government of India tells Pakistan that Pakistan is behind the OIC's anti-India statement. The Indian Government had said in December 2022 that the Organisation of Islamic Countries has already lost credibility by taking a grossly communal, biassed, and factually incorrect stand. The Secretary General of the OIC has become a pawn of Pakistan.
