The Ola company's first electric scooters, the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro will go on sale for the first time today. The electric scooters were released on August 15 and had a peak power of 8.5kW. They come in two battery configurations: the vanilla Ola S1 has a 2.98kWh battery and the Ola S1 Pro has a 3.97kWh battery. Ola electric scooter deliveries are expected to begin in October. A 7-inch touchscreen display is included on both electric scooters.

Ola's recently launched electric scooters, the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro, will be available for purchase starting today, September 15, at 8 a.m. IST. In a blog post, the ride aggregator described the purchasing procedure in full. The vanilla Ola S1 can be purchased for Rs. 99,999 ex-showroom and the Ola S1 Pro can be purchased for Rs 1,29,999 ex-showroom. Both these prices are listed without the subsidies electric vehicles receive in each state.

When the Ola electric scooter purchasing portal launches on the corporate website, prospective consumers will be required to pay a deposit of Rs. 20,000 and the remainder before their Ola S1 or Ola S1 Pro is delivered. The blog also claims that delivery would begin in October, although no exact date has been confirmed. Customers who have reserved an Ola S1 or Ola S1 Pro electric scooter, for example, can cancel their orders at any moment before they are dispatched.The electric scooters would be delivered directly to the customer's home, and they will be notified of the estimated delivery dates within 72 hours of placing their orders. Ola has also mentioned that customers can begin taking test rides in October


As previously stated, the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro were released with two battery capacities: 2.98kWh for the vanilla Ola S1 and 3.97kWh for the Ola S1 Pro. The former has a range of 121 kilometres and a peak speed of 90 kilometres per hour. The latter, on the other hand, boasts a stated range of 181 kilometres and a peak speed of 115 kilometres per hour. Normal and Sports are the only riding modes available on the vanilla Ola S1, but Normal, Sports and Hyper are available on the Ola S1 Pro.

They also come with a 7-inch touchscreen display, multiple microphones, and an AI voice recognition algorithm, as well as Ola Electric's MoveOS operating system. The Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters also get a bunch of safety features that include an anti-theft system, geo-fencing, and a flame-retardant battery that is also water and dust-resistant.
