Jammu [Jammu and Kashmir], January 1 (NT): Ex- Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday made a statement that if Centre's conversationalist for the state Dineshwar Sharma is doing something well, then results will be noticeable and it is too untimely to copy him a certificate.

"If he (Dineshwar Sharma) is doing something well, results will be visible. It is too early to issue him a certificate," former cm Abdullah told in media-meet here.

Omar Abdullah had on Wednesday raised questions at the real role of Sharma in the terror state and said that there was no intelligibility in the latter's mandate.

J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had yesterday explained that Sharma has much more authorization than the previous conversationalist for the state, and said that people can't be forced to have a discussion.

The National Conference leader, who is also an MLA from Beerwah constituency, said that people would not have been on roads for protest if welfare schemes had successfully been put into action in the state.

Abdullah added that people are asking for their privileges, which they truly ought to have.

He said the ruling association of Peoples Democratic Party and Bharatiya Janata Party government has shown his failure in ruling in the state. (NT)
