Varanasi: In the litter houses in Varanasi, UP, not only garbage but the bodies od dead cows are being thrown away in a very painful manner. The bodies of one and a half dozen dead cows were found in Adampur litter house in the city after a record death in Varanasi on Monday due to cold wave. After catching the case, a clean-up was given on behalf of the authorities that the bodies of animals are collected in the same place in the dustbin in the first city before the disposal of the dead bodies. It may also be the mischief of some people, which is going to be increased even more vigorously, and, the case will also be filed in the absence of improvement.

Not improving even after the complaint: Under the city system, garbage is usually collected in the dustbin at all places in the city before the disposal of garbage from all the houses of the city, but the dustbins are dumped along with garbage as well as dead cows. According to information received, a similar case was found in Adampur in Varanasi late Monday night when the bodies of one and a half dozen dead cows were found lying in the dustbin. In this regard, the municipal cleaning workers of the slum dwellers living in the same locality also said that many times it has been complained about the smell and the danger of infection from the authorities to the regional councillor, but the result is nothing. In the cold days, there is still some other fact, so it is becoming even more difficult to live with the smell in the summer days.

In the wake of reports, Varanasi veterinary officer Ajay Pratap Singh, on receipt of the bodies of dead animals in the litter house, gave a clean-up that a record 31 animals have lost their lives in Varanasi Nagar area on Monday due to cold wave and the bodies of all the holiday and domesticated animals of the city are gathered before disposal and the dead cows are also placed under the same.
