New Delhi [India], Jan 19 (NT): Aditya Chopra is the man behind the tittle of his wife Rani Mukherji’s comeback film ‘Hichki’.

In the comedy-drama flick, Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji upcoming movie ‘Hichki’ is the story of a strong woman who has Tourette's Syndrome and as a result, she makes a lot of strange noises all the time.The movie chronicles the journey and struggles of Mukerji, who has chosen to get into the tough profession of teaching especially because of the fact that she has a speech defect. The plot is heavily laden with the trials and hurdles that a disabled woman faces Mukerji is seen essaying the role of a teacher and from the looks of it, she will be nailing the portrayal. Based on the age-old premise of student-teacher relationships.

Since a meaningful story demanded an interesting title that would serve as a metaphor to challenges, weaknesses, prejudice and social stigma, director Siddharth P Malhotra said it was a task to figure out the perfect title for the film.

"It needed to be sensitive, thought-provoking, intriguing as well as have a direct connection to the theme of the film. It was Adi who nailed the title of the film," he said.
