Bengaluru: In Bengaluru, Karnataka, ten foreign nationals from South African are alleged to be missing. Officials from the Bengaluru municipal corporation and the city's health department have stated that they have been unable to make touch. In fact, Bengaluru was where Omicron's first case in India was discovered. The man arrived in India from South Africa as well. The administration is concerned about the absence of contact with these foreign nationals.

All of these foreign nationals are known to have visited South African nations before. But the most concerning aspect is that all of these phones are being removed. They are untraceable as a result of this. Bengaluru Municipal Corporation Commissioner Gaurav Gupta, on the other hand, stated that all foreign nationals had arrived in India from South African nations. Their phones have been turned off as well. The health department, on the other hand, is constantly looking. Following the arrival of Omicron, 57 passengers from South Africa arrived in Bengaluru. The administration has been unable to track down ten of them. Whose phones have been turned off. These passengers have not even been able to locate the address they provided at the airport.

So far, 29 countries have identified patients infected with Omicron variants and the World Health Organization (WHO) has placed it in the category of Variant of Concern. The first patient infected with this variant was found in South Africa. This variant has also entered India. Two cases of omicron were found from Bengaluru on Thursday.
