Mumbai: Corona's Omicron Variant (Omicron variant) has created panic all over the world at the moment. It is said to be more powerful and dangerous than all the variants that have come so far. It has been reported that a total of 1000 passengers from African countries have landed here in Mumbai in the last 15 days. It has been reported from him that ,'In the last 15 days, 1000 passengers have landed in Mumbai. All of them were coming from African countries where the risk of omicron remains the highest. It is also being said that out of these 1000 passengers, bmc has data of only 466 people for now, and 100 people have undergone covid test on this list also. Now, the report of any of these people who are found to be covid positive will be sent for genome sequence.

It has also been said that infected people from these countries will be kept in quarantine at Seven Hills Hospital. You all must be aware that in the midst of this big threat, the State Government has started making big preparations at its own level. The BMC is said to have arranged five hospitals and jumbo facilities amid the omicron threat. At present, 5 jumbo centres are actively functioning. It is said that screening will be tightened in the coming days.
