New Delhi: Omicron cases are on the rise worldwide. In India also, it has so far spread its footprint in 12 states. A total of 113 omicron patients have been found in 12 states including UP in the list so far. In view of all this, the Government has warned. In fact, the government cautioned people against corona's new variant Omichron, saying that don't take it lightly, if you don't take precautions, then control will be difficult. Scientists, on the other hand, say that those infected with omicrons may be showing mild symptoms, but it is increasingly affecting people.

Recently, the Government has given the example of countries like Africa and Europe as well as Britain, where new corona cases have reached record highs, if taken lightly, this variant can spread rapidly in our country also. Because of this, it is important to be careful about omicrons now.

113 cases of omicron variants have been reported in the country. The list found eight cases each in Maharashtra, two each in Kerala and Uttar Pradesh on Friday. According to reports, 40 patients have been reported so far in Maharashtra, 22 in Delhi, 17 in Rajasthan, 8 in Telangana, 8 in Karnataka, 7 in Kerala, 5 in Gujarat, 2 in Uttar Pradesh, 1 each in Andhra Pradesh- Tamil Nadu-Bengal and Chandigarh. On the other hand, cautioning against the menace of omicron, Dr. V.K. Pal, member of NITI Aayog and head of corona vaccination task force, appealed to the people to strictly follow corona proper treatment and take both doses of vaccine at the earliest.

Giving data on the alarming situation of corona infection in many countries of the world recently, Dr. Pal said that to avoid this, one should avoid unnecessary travel along with following old practices such as frequent hand washing, maintaining proper distance, and wearing masks. He also appealed to the people to stay away from festivals and other religious and social festivals. There is a risk of the virus spreading rapidly in winter, so caution is also needed in new year celebrations.
