Omicron Threat: Meghalaya logs 329 new cases of COVID, 2 more deaths

In Eastern Khasi Hills (EKH) and East-West Khasi Hills, 329 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths has been reported on Thursday. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, the State has recovered 142 new cases.

With this, the overall number of cases recovered has increased to 83,997. The number of active cases has risen to 1629, according to the health department's report. To far, 1,494 people have died as a result of COVID-19 infection.
