Lucknow: The government of Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state, has increased its vigilance against the Omicron strain of Corona. On Saturday, a CMO delegation met with authorities from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow's capital. People from a half-dozen nations, including South Africa and Hong Kong, would be closely scrutinised, according to the conference. Manoj Agarwal, the CMO of Lucknow, stated that visitors from outside the country will be required to stay in quarantine for ten days. South Africa's Airport Authority will keep a close eye on those arriving from Hong Kong, Brazil, Bangladesh, China, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Belgium, and will notify the Health Department.

The health department team present at the airport will conduct RT-PCR tests by the airport authorities for extensive screening, and people arriving from overseas will be detained in home isolation for 10 days and admitted to the hospital if the report does not come back negative after 10 days.
