Lucknow : Former Shia Waqf Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi, who was one of the main Muslim faces of Uttar Pradesh, has left Islam and become a Hindu from today. Today, in Ghaziabad, Yati Narasimhananda Saraswati initiated him into Sanatan Dharma. Wasim Rizvi said that I have been expelled from Islam, the prize is increased on our heads every Friday, so today I am adopting eternal religion.
 
Tell us that Wasim Rizvi had already announced that he would leave Islam and convert to Sanatan Dharma on the anniversary of the Babri demolition on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Yati Narasimhanand saraswati said that we are with Wasim Rizvi and will join rizvi tyagi fraternity. Wasim Rizvi, former chairman of the Shia Central Wakf Board, had announced that he was going to leave Islam and convert to Hinduism. He had said that Mahant Yati Narasimhananda Saraswati of devi temple of Dasna would see him in Sanatan Dharma.

Just recently, Wasim Rizvi made his will public. In it, he had announced that he should not be buried after his death, but that he should be cremated as per Hindu customs. Wasim Rizvi had asked Yati Narasimhananda to confront his pyre.
