Dhaka: In the second round of the Men's Asia Cup hockey tournament, here on Thursday, India defeated Malaysia by a big margin of 6-2. The first goal from India was played by Akashdeep Singh in the 15th minute of the game. After that, Harmanpreet Singh scored the second goal in the 19th minute. SK Uthappa scored the third goal for India in the 24th minute. Gurjant Singh (33rd minute), Gurjant Singh (33rd minute), SV Sunil (40th minute) and Sardar Singh (in the 60th minute) scored 1-1 goals. In response to India's 6 goals, only two goals were scored from the Malaysian side.

It should be mentioned that in the first match of the Super Four stage, India played a 1-1 draw from South Korea. The Indian team looked excellent in the tournament so far, but the team led by Manpreet Singh was on the verge of beat for the first time against the dangerous and defensive Korean team

In spite of holding the ball much time in the match and receiving more opportunities to score, it is hard for Indian team strikers to break through the Korean defense. In the first two quarters, no team could score goals. Jungjun Li (41st) gave Korea an edge, so that the team reached the point of victory but Gurjant scored a goal to make equal in the 60th minute.

 The position of the super-4 is as follows. 1. India: 2 matches - 4 points, 2. Malaysia: 2 matches - 3 points, 3. D. Korea: 2 matches - 2 points 4. Pakistan: 2 matches - 1 point.
