USA: There will be 7.9 billion people living in the world on January 1, 2023, an increase of 73.7 million from 2022, according to projections released by the US Census Bureau on Thursday.

This represents an increase in the global population of 0.9% over the previous year. The Census Bureau predicted that in January 2023 there would be 4.3 births and two deaths every second worldwide.

According to projections, there will be 334.2 million people living in the United States on January 1, 2023, an increase of 0.5 percent, or 1.5 million, since 2022.

In January 2023, it is projected that there will be one birth every nine seconds and one death every ten in the United States. Net international migration is estimated to result in one person being added to the US population every 32 seconds.

According to the Census Bureau, one person is added to the US population every 27 seconds as a result of births, deaths and net international migration.
