On Netaji's birth anniversary, firing and lathi-charge between TMC and BJP workers

Kolkata: Even on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Subhas Chandra Bose, the politics of the BJP and the TMC in West Bengal did not stop. The situation worsened to such an end while paying homage to Netaji at Bhatpara in West Bengal that BJP MP Arjun Singh's security personnel had to fire in the air.

In fact, on the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Barrackpore in West Bengal, TMC and the BJP clashed on Sunday. The situation got so bad that BJP MP Arjun Singh's security personnel had to fire in the air. The clash took place when the two sides clashed to lay a wreath at Netaji's statue on Netaji's 125th birth anniversary.

As soon as he reached Arjun Singh's occasion, the TMC and BJP workers started talking and it came to blows. The BJP has alleged that TMC workers pelted stones at Arjun Singh. Arjun Singh's security personnel then fired several rounds in the air and took Arjun Singh to a safe place. Police were also present on the spot due to this. Police also resorted to the lathi charge to control the situation. The BJP has alleged that Arjun Singh's vehicle has also been vandalised. A police force has been deployed in heavy statistics in view of the tension in the area. TMC alleged that Arjun Singh's security personnel fired 7 rounds and it was a total lying wrong thing. BJP MP Arjun Singh said that at 10.30 am on Sunday, our MLA Pawan Singh had gone to pay homage to Netaji when the goons of TMC attacked him, fired at him, threw bricks at him... When I arrived, they attacked me too. Everything was happening before the police... My vehicle was smashed.
