Gwalior: Mahaaryaman Scindia, son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, arrived at the Captain Roop Singh Stadium for the first time after becoming the GDCA vice-president. Talking to reporters, Scindia said that his first priority would be to extract better sports talent from the Gwalior zone. At the same time, Mahaaryaman Scindia said that now talented players at the village level will also be taken out so that their talent can come out in front of everyone.
 
On the question of getting into politics through sports, Mahaaryaman Scindia said, "I am a sports lover and have become a part of the association with the same goal. Don't link it to politics. Because I am young and seeing the future of the youth, I have come into cricket. Cricket is my first choice, so I will take cricket to the forefront of MP.'' On the question of Madhya Pradesh having a team in the IPL, Mahaaryaman said that he also wants to have his own IPL team not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in Gwalior. But it will take time to prepare them. Because we can't do it quickly, but in the future, we hope that a team from Madhya Pradesh will play in the IPL. After the construction of the new stadium, bringing international matches to Gwalior in the year 2023 will be his first priority.
