Nagaur: In Hariajun village of Nagaur in Rajasthan, a man was allegedly tied to a tree by the locals, stripped naked and beaten him. The villagers suspected him of having a connection with a woman in the village. Victim Baldev Tanwar claimed that he was a friend of that person who was planning to have a relationship with the woman.

According to the victim, he went to worship in Hariajun village when the locals attacked him. Tanwar said the locals stopped him in the village, snatched his phone and beat him up. He said the locals did not let him talk to his family or the police. "They made me naked and shared a video through WhatsApp," he said. They harassed me and forced me to say that I am a friend of Manish and I have come here to record the video. "
Station House Officer (SHO) Ramvir Jhakkar told ANI, "When the police team reached Hariajun village, we found that one person was tied to a tree and some locals had gathered there. He suspected that the man could run away with a woman from the village. Some locals have also lodged reports against 3-4 people forcibly entering their homes. Police have registered a case in connection with the incident. Further investigation is underway.
