Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma's horror-comedy film 'Munja' has maintained its dominance at the box office. From its first day of release, it has captured the ticket counters, receiving immense love from the audience. The film has continued to perform exceptionally well, even on its third weekend, creating a significant impact at the box office. Let's find out how much 'Munja' collected on its 17th day, which is the third Sunday.

Despite not having a big star cast or a hefty budget, 'Munja' has managed to draw audiences to theaters with its compelling story. The film has turned out to be a surprise package at the box office, receiving such a fantastic response that it recouped its budget within the first week and is now reaping substantial profits. Surprisingly, even in its third week, the craze for 'Munja' among the audience is still going strong. The film opened with a collection of 4 crores. In its first week, it collected 35.3 crores, while in the second week, 'Munja' earned 32.65 crores.

In its third week, the film earned 3 crores on the third Friday. On the 16th day, which was the third Saturday, it showed an impressive growth of 83.33%, earning 5.5 crores. Now, the early estimates for 'Munja's third Sunday, which is the 17th day of its release, have come in.

According to Sacnilk's early trend report, 'Munja' collected 6.75 crores on its 17th day, the third Sunday. With this, the total collection of 'Munja' over 17 days has now reached 83.2 crores.

Made on a budget of just 30 crores, 'Munja' has surpassed several big films released this year. The film has outperformed Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,' which had a lifetime collection of 65 crores, and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan,' which managed only 52 crores, despite their hefty budgets of 350 crores and 200 crores, respectively. In just 17 days, 'Munja' has achieved an impressive collection of 83.2 crores, earning several times its cost.

With its earnings far exceeding its cost, 'Munja' has amassed 80 crores in 17 days. As for reaching the 100 crore mark, 'Munja' is just a few steps away. Despite competition from Kartik Aaryan's 'Chandu Champion' and Pashmina Roshan's 'Ishq Vishk Rebound,' 'Munja' continues to dominate. It is expected to reach the 100 crore milestone in its third week. However, with the release of Prabhas' film 'Kalki 2898 AD' on June 27, it remains to be seen how 'Munja' will fare at the box office.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, 'Munja' is the fourth film in Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Supernatural Universe, following 'Stree' (2018), 'Roohi' (2021), and 'Bhediya' (2023). The horror-comedy film features Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh in key roles.
