New Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal has given an open challenge to the BJP on Delhi Municipal Corporation integration (MCD unification). Kejriwal has said that if you have courage, show MCD elections on time and show them by winning, we will leave politics. On the occasion of Martyr's Day, Arvind Kejriwal said that what is being seen for the past few days is in a way an insult to the sacrifice of martyrs. The BJP government at the Center is postponing the municipal elections in Delhi. Everyone knows that this time BJP was going to be wiped out and to avoid their defeat, those people first put pressure on the State Election Commission to postpone the election and now they are bringing amendments, through which the election will be postponed for many months. It is being postponed, it is very sad.

Explaining further, Arvind Kejriwal said that if elections are not held inside this country, then how will democracy survive, how will the voice of the people be saved. The most sorrow will be on this day for the soul of Bhagat Singh, who freed the country by hanging himself. Was it made free for this day that the government would come and end the election itself? In this country people have the basic right to choose the government. Urging the central government, Arvind Kejriwal said that defeat keeps on winning, today you are winning in some state, someone else is winning in some state. To avoid your defeat in the election of a small MCD, don't play with this country, don't play with the martyrdom of martyrs, don't play with the constitution.

Along with this, Arvind Kejriwal while attacking the BJP said that today we are saying that we have to unite the three municipal corporations, so we are postponing the elections. Can elections be postponed on this basis? Tomorrow there will be elections in Gujarat and they will write a letter to the Central Election Commission that we are going to unite Gujarat and Maharashtra, so don't hold elections in Gujarat. Next time the Lok Sabha elections will be held and BJP is losing in it, then we will write a letter to the Central Election Commission that we are going to abolish the parliamentary system and bring in the presidential system, do not hold elections. Arvind Kejriwal said that I appeal to the PM with folded hands that tomorrow whether BJP or Aam Aadmi Party will be there, whether Modi ji or Kejriwal will be there or not, this country should be saved. You are playing with the system of this country to win a small election. This is simply not true. BJP calls itself the biggest party in the world, the biggest party got scared of a small party in Delhi. Terrified by a small election in Delhi, what courage do you have inside you, curse on you. I challenge BJP, if you have courage, show MCD elections on time and show it by winning, we will leave politics.
