According to media reports, the doctors of Severance Hospital had admitted Kang Su-yon to the ICU, where he was also being treated. But the actress didn't come to her senses. On May 7, the actress passed away in the presence of her family. According to the report, she is scheduled to be buried on May 11 in the funeral hall of Samsung Seoul Hospital.
Reports say that Kang Su-Yeon has been a part of South Korea's movie industry since 1969.
