Korean actress Kang Su-Yeon has bid goodbye to this world. The actress has passed away due to a heart attack at Severs Hospital in Gangnam, Gangnam-Gu, Seoul. The actress breathed her last at the age of 55. The actress was found to be in a state of cardiac arrest at her residence in Gangnam-Gu, Apgujeg-Dong, Seoul, following which she was admitted to the hospital. Kang Su-Yeon contacted the emergency services and complained of headaches, after which the police and the fire department found the actress in a state of cardiac arrest.

According to media reports, the doctors of Severance Hospital had admitted Kang Su-yon to the ICU, where he was also being treated. But the actress didn't come to her senses. On May 7, the actress passed away in the presence of her family. According to the report, she is scheduled to be buried on May 11 in the funeral hall of Samsung Seoul Hospital.

Reports say that Kang Su-Yeon has been a part of South Korea's movie industry since 1969. Kang Su-Yeon has also been awarded the Best Actress award at the Venice International Movie Festival for 'The Surrogate Woman,' directed by Im Kwon-Taek, and she became the first Korean actress to receive the award at the International Film Festival.
