Renowned actor Dilip Joshi, who became famous in the house by playing the role of Jethalal in tv's famous comedy show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', is celebrating his birthday today i.e. on May 26. Dilip Joshi was born on May 26, 1968 in Porbandar. 'Jethalal' i.e. Dilip has a fan following of crores today because of his role. Before television serials, Dileep has also tried his hand at films. There was a time when he was seen in the role of Salman Khan's servant on screen.  

Few people will remember about Dilip Joshi that he appeared in actor Salman Khan's superhit film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. This is where Salman Khan debuted. In this film of Sooraj Badjatya in 1989, Dilip Joshi played the role of his servant 'Ramu' in it. Along with Salman Khan, actress Bhagyashree also made her debut in the film. Dilip Joshi's comedy, dialogues and his comic sense were much loved in the film. Dilip Joshi never looked back after this film.

Dilip Joshi not only worked with him in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' but also in Salman's another great film 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun'. Apart from Salman, Madhuri Dixit and many other actors were seen in this film. In the film, Dileep played the role of Madhuri's brother Bholaprasad.
