New Delhi: Several cases of black fungus have been registered in Delhi, which is reeling under the second wave of corona epidemic. One person has also died due to this disease. The case came to light on May 16 at the well-known Mulchand Hospital in Delhi. Dr. Bhagwan Mantri of Mulchand Hospital has given full details in this regard.

According to Dr. Bhagwan, a 37-year-old man from Meerut who was in a corona-restrained corona had symptoms of black fungus. He was initially undergoing treatment at home after being infected with corona, he had high blood sugar. But the patient succumbed to his injuries during a long treatment in the hospital. The doctor has informed about the patient who lost his life at Mulchand Hospital that when the patient was brought to Mulchand Hospital on May 16, the patient had swelling in his eyes and swelling of his face.

He explained that the patient's eyes were red, as well as bleeding from his nose. When all the tests were conducted, the black fungus came to light and was followed by surgery. The doctor at Mulchand Hospital informed that after surgery and other attempts the patient underwent cardiac arrest and could not be saved.
