Ghaziabad: In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, police arrested a 15,000-rupee crook after an encounter while his accomplice managed to escape. The arrested crook was shot in the right leg. The police were very gritty in identifying him. He was first called a reward of 50 thousand. Later, he received a reward of 15,000. SP City Shlok Kumar said the miscreant arrested in the encounter is Dharmendra alias Tiddi, a resident of Bharatpur in Rajasthan. While Loni resident Ambrish has been able to escape.

He said the accused has seized looted bikes, pistols and two cartridges. He said, Manish Chauhan, the in-charge of the post in Govindpuram, was investigating at 11.30 am on Saturday morning. He said, a file was sent to the accused declaring a reward of 50,000 rupees, but the official information has not come to him whether the reward has not been announced.
