One killed in motorcycle accident in Cachar, Assam

In Cachar's Jirighat, a person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday. Jayanta Das of Jirighat was identified as the dead.

Another person with him was also severely injured in the accident. Dipankar Karmakar of Jirighat was identified as the injured person.

According to witnesses, the tragedy occurred after the motorcycle they were riding ran out of control and fell into the roadway. Das had suffered serious head trauma and died on the spot from suspected internal injuries. Karmakar, on the other hand, was sent to the hospital in a severe condition.

Overspeeding has been identified as the cause of the collision, and it is a key factor in the majority of road accidents in Assam. Over-speeding is not regulated in the state since there is no adequate mechanism in place. Two boys were murdered in a motorcycle accident in Hojai's Doboka on Sunday evening earlier this week. Saidul Islam and Faruk Ahmed were recognised as the deceased.
