On Sunday, an anonymous person was killed in an accident in Lakhimpur's Narayanpur. According to police sources, the guy has yet to be identified because they did not have any identification with him, but his identity will be determined soon because the bike's number is being verified.

A pick-up truck hit the deceased, who was riding a two-wheeler.The collision did not merely result in the death of the dead and his car; the pick-up truck had driven at least 200 metres with the deceased still below the truck's chassis. After the driver realised the person had died on the spot, the truck with the registration number AS12BC8416 fled the scene. According to the police, the deceased's head tore apart from its body during the impact, and there was no hope of him surviving.

He had died on the spot and was then taken to the hospital for legal proceedings. The truck was intercepted and further investigation is underway.
