New Delhi: The system of One Nation-One card is going to start in the entire country from Monday, 1st June. This scheme, which is going to be started in 20 states, will mainly benefit 67 crore poor people. Due to the Central Government's One Nation-One Ration Card Scheme, ration can be taken from any other state along with the original state. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had mentioned this while announcing the economic package.

The scheme of One Nation-One Card will be fully implemented from June 1 for ration cards across the country. The benefit of this scheme will be that ration card is made in any state, it can be used to buy ration in other state also. This will benefit the poor a lot. Ration card holders will get 5 kg of rice at the rate of 3 rupees per kg and wheat at the rate of two rupees per kg. The card will be issued in two languages - local language and Hindi or English.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that those who do not have ration card or any card will also be given assistance of 5 kg wheat, rice and one kg gram. 8 crore migrant laborers will benefit from this. It will cost 3500 crores rupees. It will be made effective through state governments. The states have the details of these workers. For the next two months, this process will be applicable in 20 states across the country, where the workers will be able to take advantage of it.
