And that’s not all. She is also a brand ambassador for BFY (Better Fitness for You), Myprotein, Yoga Bars and Alpino. A Master trainer at BFY & CPTA academies. That’s many feathers in her cap!!

We sat down with her to have an in-depth discussion about her successful journey so far and her future plans.

Q- Urvashi, starting a brand is a really intimidating prospect and many don't even try doing it. What inspired you to start your own brand?
Urvashi - I have been into fitness for a long time and I've always given my best to help others reach their goals. Many of my friends have gotten in shape with my help and became a fitter version of themselves. They encouraged me to start my own brand, and while it was intimidating as you said, it was also thrilling. In April 2020, I started my brand-Holistic Fitness with Tronzy. It’s been an amazing journey so far. Currently, I am working as a Fitness coach, I give Fitness sessions online, conduct corporate webinars  and  give workshops to train the budding trainers in India. I am also associated with GOQii- which is the official partner for our Prime minister, Mr Narendra Modi’s “Fit India “ movement.

Q. What is the driving factor behind all this?
Urvashi - I am passionate about making people fit and healthy through innovative avenues. I want to help them in making the switch from a sedentary to an active lifestyle. Help them being a better version of themselves. This is my passion and I derive my inspiration from it.

Q. April, 2020 - the time when you started your brand - was a time when the entire globe had seemingly stopped due to the pandemic. How did you push through those times?
Urvashi - COVID was a big deterrent. Back in March, when everything was closed and  nobody had ever seen a situation like this. Frankly, I wasn’t sure in the beginning but then I mustered courage and started my own brand. As everything was online, I started working on my Instagram account and gave online classes. I also worked with many corporate firms and gave fitness related webinars. Slowly, as the word of my work spread, I kept getting positive feedback and more work. I've collaborated with many companies and brands so far. Deloitte, India Today, ICRISAT, GOQii, BFY, CPTA are some of the brands that I am currently associated with.

Q. What about the day to day struggles? How do you deal with those problems?
Urvashi- Struggles are a part and parcel of life. I just remain focused and passionate about my goals. Whatever problem that I've faced, I've worked religiously towards solving it. I also find strength with the help of my friends and family in difficult times. I have a strong support system and I've managed to sail through all my problems.

Q. Seems like you already have a plan to tackle all kinds of hurdles! Tell us, what do you envision for the future?
Urvashi - My future plans are to build my brand further and expand the scope of my influence. I want to encourage, guide and coach people in staying fit and healthy.

Q. Any message for the newcomers that you want to share?
Urvashi - Stay focused on your path and stay on the learning curve. Be true to your profession. Keep upgrading yourself and your skills. If you have a will, you'll find a way.
