Lohaghat: Constantly increasing cases of theft and smuggling in our country. Not long ago, in Lohaghat the police and forest department team caught a person with three skins of leopard. It was told that the accused is a resident of Pataudi. There has been a stir in the forest department after the leopard was found. At the same time, just a few days ago, the SOG of Wildlife Crime Bureau Delhi and Terai Central Forest Division arrested three smugglers with leopard skins.

According to the information received, the smuggler was to bring the skin from Bageshwar and send it to Delhi. The skin was traded for one and a half lakh rupees. The Wildlife Crime Bureau Delhi was reported to have smuggled leopard skins into the Nainital region. On this, the team along with SOG in-charge Kailash Tiwari arrested three youths with leopard skin near Bhakra bridge in Lamachod Khas.
