Fire breaks out at Delhi's mask factory, 1 man died

New Delhi: A fire engulfed a factory of making masks in the country's capital, Delhi on Saturday morning. The fire department vehicles rushed to the spot and found control of the fire after hours of work. One person died in the incident, while two others have been rescued safely. The incident happened in Mayapuri area of Delhi.

According to information, the Delhi Fire Department was informed of the fire in Mayapuri area at around 4 am on Saturday morning. After receiving information on the phone, six fire department vehicles rushed to the spot and started trying to control the fire. Six vehicles of the fire department arrived on the spot. On the spot, fire department staff evacuated three people by breaking the door and wall from the spot.

The 45-year-old Jugal, who was reported to have been rescued, is said to have been pronounced dead by doctors. Two other rescued are reported to be safe. Aman Ansari, 18, and Feroz Ansari, 24, were taken out of the mask factory and taken to DDU Hospital soon. Feroz is said to be unconscious. He is undergoing treatment at DDU Hospital.
