Recently, a case of crime has surfaced from village Bhanga in Kichha in Uttarakhand. A young nephew living here had poured acid on him due to unrestricted love with his maternal aunt and a 23-year-old man suffering from an acid attack died during treatment in Haldwani's STH on Wednesday. In this case, the police arrested the accused nephew nine days after the incident and produced him in the court from where he has been sent to jail.

According to the information received in this case, SI Prakash Bhat of Pulbhatta told that, "The youth of village Bhanga had complained that an unknown person had put acid on the night of 30 October on his brother. The brother was badly burnt by the acid attack. In the preliminary investigation of the police, the name of the nephew of the victim came up. He further said that "In interrogation, the accused told that he loved his maternal uncle's wife. That is why he did all this".

In this case, the nephew further said, 'His purpose behind the acid attack was to make the maternal uncle ugly so that the aunt settled with him but he did not want to kill him. The accused nephew was produced in court on November 9, from where he has been sent to jail, Roar had registered a case under section 326A against the accused, which will be served in 302 after the death of the victim.
