Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone‘s first song of the film Pathaan Beshram Rang face huge criticism. Besharam is a dance number romancing each other in exotic locales in Europe. However, they are facing huge criticism because of the color of Deepika’s Dress.  It all started with MP’s home minister Narottam Mishra opposition against the song.

Now the state's Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam has also opposed actor Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Pathaan.  He said, "Shah Rukh should watch this film with his daughter, upload a picture and tell the world that he is watching it with his daughter," he said, and added, "This should definitely not be allowed. Will you dish out whatever you feel like? I want to openly say -- make one such film on Prophet Muhammad and release it in the name of freedom of expression. There will be bloodshed across the world".

The leader of the opposition Dr Govind Singh, and former Union Minister Suresh Pachouri, have also opposed the film, saying it's "against our values". "It's not about Pathan, but paridhan (clothes)," Suresh Pachouri said, adding that in Indian culture, any woman wearing such clothes, and publicly displaying that scene, will not be permissible by anyone, be it Hindus, Muslims, or followers of any other religion.

Pathaan, marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan also has Jawaan and Dunki in the pipeline.
