Begusarai: A suspected patient of coronavirus has been found in Begusarai district of Bihar. The suspected patient has been referred to Patna after initial treatment at Sadar Hospital. Actually 15 days ago, 45-year-old Vidyanand Sharma, a resident of Hardia village under Begusarai block came back from China.

After coming home, he was under the supervision of doctors. He was brought to Sadar Hospital after having a cold cough problem, from where doctors have referred him to Patna as a suspected patient of coronavirus. At present, the district administration is monitoring the 9 people who have come to India from abroad in Begusarai. Patients have been advised to stay indoors and are being looked after by doctors daily. Out of these 9 patients, one of the patients who came from China, Vidyanand Sharma, has been referred to Patna by the doctors of the hospital, considering him to be suspected of coronavirus due to cold cough problem.

DM Arvind Kumar Verma said that all the people coming from abroad are being kept under surveillance as per the government guidelines. In Begusarai, just 9 people came from abroad, which are being monitored. One of those patients, who is suspected of coronavirus in case of cold cough, has been referred to Patna for treatment and investigation.
