Massive bomb blast near Memon Masjid in Jinnah Road, kills a woman

Islamabad: News of another blast in Karachi in Pakistan has emerged. There was an explosion near Memon Masjid on MA Jinnah Road here, in which a woman lost her life. 8 people were injured. A policeman was also among the injured. This is the second time in a week that this has happened in Karachi. Earlier, one person was killed in a bomb blast in Karachi late on the night of May 13 and 13 people were injured. 

The blast took place in Karachi's busiest commercial area, Sadar. Police said the explosion took place outside a hotel. The explosion took place in the dustbin. However, it was not clear whether the bomb was planted or if it exploded due to any other reason. Eyewitnesses said the explosion was so loud that the windows of nearby apartments, shops, and cars were broken and the fire broke out. About eight to ten vehicles parked on the road were set on fire by the explosion.

Earlier on April 26, a suicide blast took place at Karachi University in Pakistan. Three Chinese and one Pakistani national lost their lives. The attack was carried out by Shari Baloch, a fidayeen attacker of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Attacks on Chinese nationals have increased in Pakistan over the past few years. China's Deputy Ambassador to Pakistan Pang Chunxue met Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and discussed a range of issues, including the safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan. Chinese Deputy Ambassador Chunxiw said his country wanted a thorough investigation into the Karachi case and the perpetrators were brought to justice as soon as possible. During this time, Rana Sanaullah expressed grief over the death of Chinese nationals killed in the Karachi attack.
