New Delhi: The OnePlus 11 concept phone was finally unveiled by OnePlus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona. The Active Cryoflux cooling system of the device is its primary selling point.

Transparent pipelines with icy blue micro-liquid can be seen in the back cover of the phone. The camera bump is surrounded by similar design elements, giving the phone a distinctive look.

The OnePlus 11 concept that OnePlus has been teasing for the past few weeks has now arrived at MWC 2023. The company will use the concept phone to showcase its cooling system, which has reportedly been in development for two years, but will not be put into production.

Active Cryoflux aims to offer better cooling options for premium gaming smartphones.

The OnePlus 11 concept looks similar to the standard OnePlus 11 from the front, but is different from the back. The phone has a glass unibody and a transparent back cover so that you can see the cool blue micro-liquid flowing through the pipeline, which acts as both a heat sink and a radiator.

Two industrial-grade piezoelectric micropumps, each taking up less than 0.2cm3 of space, control fluid circulation.

The closed-loop liquid-cooling system, which has long been used in gaming PC setups, served as an inspiration for the OnePlus one. By encasing the technology in a smartphone body and keeping CPU/GPU units cool without fans, a company going by the fancy name Active Cryoflux attempted to scare off competitors.

According to information provided by Marques Brownlee on his YouTube channel "MKBHD", the OnePlus 11 concept's Active Cryoflux cooling system will reduce the device's temperature by up to 1.6°C while charging, allowing it to go from 0 to 0 in less than a minute. From will be charged up to 100%. ,

Additionally, the technology will reduce the phone's temperature by up to 2.1°C, while enabling 3–4 additional frames per second in gaming environments (FPS).

It is unlikely that the OnePlus 11 concept will go into production. It serves as a showcase of OnePlus' active Cryoflux cooling system, which could be included in the upcoming smartphone. It is still a mystery if OnePlus will ever use this liquid-cooling technology.

The company's intriguing prototypes, such as a colour-changing/motion-tracking back panel and self-tinting camera cover, were previously showcased but never implemented in a OnePlus smartphone.
