New Delhi: 91mobiles has cited source Ishan Agarwal as saying that OnePlus is developing a new smart TV for the Indian market. The report claims that the upcoming item from the company will be called OnePlus Q2 Pro.

Screens up to 65 inches with 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate will be available. Unknown is the exact launch date for the television. However, it may ship with the OnePlus 11.

Smart TV market in India is growing rapidly year by year. In response to the sharp rise in demand for 4K TVs, companies like OnePlus and Realme are also vying for some customers.

OnePlus's Q1 Pro, which was released four years ago, will be replaced by the upcoming Q2 Pro. It is expected to have a sharp screen, loud speakers, and adequate RAM and storage configuration.

The OnePlus Q2 Pro is expected to sport a traditional design with minimal bezels. A 70W speaker system with Dolby audio will be included.

The TV will come in a variety of screen sizes, with the largest 4K QLED panel offering 120Hz refresh rate at 65 inches. As is customary, the display should support MEMC technology, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and HDR10/HDR10+ certification.

OnePlus Q2 Pro should have multiple I/O ports. Two or three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet jack, and other ports may be included. For wireless connectivity, the television should support dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Information about the processor of OnePlus Q2 Pro is currently not available. But there will be 32GB of onboard storage and 3GB of RAM.

The television will run OnePlus' unique Android skin for Oxygen Play, which is an aggregator for streaming content from various OTT apps such as Prime Video, Zee5 and Sony LIV. This could include a built-in Google Assistant for accessibility without the need for a handheld device.

The pricing and availability details of the OnePlus Q2 Pro are currently unknown. However, the television could be unveiled on February 7 in India alongside the OnePlus 11, with a later release date.
