Khandwa: A solar eclipse is going to happen on June 21. Due to solar eclipse, the doors of Omkareshwar and Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple will be closed from 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday. After the eclipse period is over, the puja-aarti will be performed by the priests. After this, the gates will be opened for darshan.

The priest of the temple Jagdish Parsai, Jitendra Shastri and Pt Dixit told that the solar eclipse will last from 10-09 am to 1:43 pm. Ten minutes before the eclipse, the gates of Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar temple will be closed. After the eclipse period ends, Omkar will first get the original form of God bathed with Narmada water. Shree Dhuniwale Dadaji's shrine will not be closed on Sunday on the solar eclipse. Seva-puja will be done at the tomb of 'Bade Dadaji' and 'Chote-Dadaji'. However, due to the order of the district administration, there is a ban on the entry of devotees in the Dham.

At 10.15 in the morning, the Dhawaja will be offered. After this, there will be a samadhi bath at 3:30 pm. In this regard, the temple trustee Subhash Nagauri said that Sridhuniwale Dadaji is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva. A solar eclipse will be observed on June 21 on the new moon of Ashadh month. There will be no puja-aarti during the eclipse in other temples including Mahakal. The time of Lord Mahakal's Bhog Aarti will also change. Priest Pradeep Guru told about this time that Bhog Aarti takes place in Mahakal temple from 10 am to 10.30 am, but the eclipse is starting from 10 am to 11 am, so the time of Bhog Aarti will change. This Aarti will be around 2.30 in the afternoon after the purification of the temple after eclipse salvation. Shaktipeeth Harsiddhi, Sandipani Ashram etc. temples will also be closed during the eclipse.
