Bhopal: Private school operators and the government in Madhya Pradesh have now become opponents of each other. In fact, the private school operators here have now started a front against the Government. Private school operators are on indefinite strike to protest against the order not to charge tuition fees only and increase tuition fees. Online classes are said to be closed indefinitely in all private schools in the state from today i.e.

All the private schools affiliated to CBSE and MP Board have rallied in protest against the government's order. It has decided not to conduct online classes in 2800 private schools including 125 CBSE in Bhopal district and about 25,000 in the state. In this regard, Vini Raj Modi, Vice President, Association of Unaided Private Schools, says that schools have been closed for the last one and a half years. He said, "The financial condition of the schools is very bad. Government to announce economic package to improve financial condition of schools. Online classes will remain closed indefinitely till the economic package is announced."

At the same time, Ajit Singh, state president of the Private Schools Association, said, "The school has been closed for the last one and a half years. We have 5 point demands from the Government: 1- Private schools should be recognized without trial and fee, 2- Recognition and affiliation fee should be waived, 3- Affiliation fee paid to both DPI and MP Board should be united, 4- Amount RTE has not been paid for the last 3 years, the amount should be paid at the earliest 5- Children without TC should not be admitted to the school."

He also said, "We have demanded the government to waive off all taxes. All private schools affiliated to mp board are closing online classes from today due to non-fulfillment of all these demands. All government functions will be boycotted and a memorandum will be submitted to the Collector and SDM in the districts in the name of the Chief Minister. Schools in all districts will close schools and hand over keys to the education department." Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed schools in the state not to increase fees. Private schools will now be able to charge tuition fees only and not increase fees till further orders.
