Online classes of government schools to begin in Telangana on August 20

Hyderabad: Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy has recently announced that online classes are going to start for students of government schools. She has also announced a date for this. She said that "The state government is starting online classes for students of government schools on August 20". Apart from this, she said that the beginning of the academic year and conducting entrance examinations have been discussed with senior officials.

Regarding this, the Education Minister said that "Online classes are going to start on 20 August on Doordarshan channel through T-SAT for students of classes from 6th to 10th. Apart from this, digital classes of 3rd, 4th and 5th class students are going to start on September 1. In the middle of all this, online classes will start for junior colleges on September 17. The process of entrance examination for intermediate students has been considered starting from 1 September. Sabita Indra Reddy also said that "The entrance test of Common Entrance Test (CET) can be conducted at any time after the permission of the High Court. Due to the increasing transition of COVID at the national level, the academic year of the degree and PG students has gone wrong and all the CET examinations were postponed indefinitely".

She also said that "The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has also released a temporary list regarding the entrance examinations. Now engineering CET exam is going to be held on 31 August, polytechnic CET exam on 30 September and Telangana State Engineering Agriculture exam will be conducted from 9 to 11 and 14 September".
