Gorakhpur: Online classes will be held in Gorakhpur University of Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state, after a week. Now it will run for 45 days, after which the situation will be reviewed. For all other classes except undergraduate and postgraduate first year, online class studies will begin. Universities will also become partners in the e-content being prepared at the state level, the responsibility of three subjects has been given from the government level.

The same Vice Chancellor Professor VK Singh said in his statement that the crisis of COVID-19 still remains. The government has imposed a ban on starting classes in August. In such a situation, considering the future of students, it has been decided to run online classes. It will run till the last week of September. If the situation is favorable, then mixed classes will be started online or offline. If the situation is normal, classes will start as before October or November.

Explaining further, the Vice Chancellor told that the rates of infection have increased in the state. In such a situation, the government is giving preference to studies through online classes and social media. An e-content portal has also been created by the government at the state level. In this portal, the text of all the subjects will be received. It will be provided free of charge for the portal. Students of any university can study from it. In addition, university teachers will create state level e-content in the subject of Zoology, Political Science and Journalism and Mass Communication. Several changes will be made with this.
