While approving the proposal, the Lt Governor also reportedly raised issues like delay on the part of the Labour Department in disposing of applications made by establishments. A total of 346 applications were pending, including 18 applications of 2016, 26 of 2017, 83 of 2018, 25 of 2019, 04 of 2020, and 74 applications of 2021.
While approving the proposal, the LG also noted that the delay showed that the labour department was showing an unprofessional attitude.
