Shimla: The government has issued new instructions for entry into Himachal Pradesh amid increasing cases of grieving infection. The Himachal government has taken a strong stand and has now made it mandatory to register online in addition to the covid vaccination or negative report of coronavirus for entry into the state. For the past several months, tourists had been reaching tourist spots in Himachal in large numbers due to the heat in north India. Open violations of covid guidelines were also observed in many places.
The Jairam government in an order issued on Wednesday said that inter-state movement will be monitored through registration on the government's Covid e-Pass portal. Ram Subhag Singh, Chief Secretary-cum-Chairman, State Executive Committee, said in the order, "All inter-state movement in the state will be monitored through registration on the Covid e-registration software of the Himachal Government." However, the order also exempts a variety of people from covid reports and registrations.
However, this condition will not apply to some services like goods vehicles. The order said industrialists, traders, suppliers, factory workers, project supporters, service providers, government officials, and people visiting the state at the medical base will be given concessions in the order. At the same time, a child 18 years of age traveling with his parents or guardian does not need RTCR negative report and vaccination certificate.
