With each passing year, the search for the perfect automobile and car brand becomes more online, and automotive businesses, particularly in the Covid-19 period, have left no stone unturned in expanding their digital presence and reach. In the year 2021, a large number of potential purchasers went online to see what vehicle companies had been up to. The most-searched vehicle brands in major nations and areas throughout the world were revealed in an annual ranking published by Australia's Compare the Market.

According to the data, Hyundai is the most popular brand in India when it comes to internet searches. The Koreans have a strong web presence and are the country's second-largest automobile manufacturer. Hyundai had a number of significant announcements and debuts in 2021, including the Alcazar three-row SUV and the i20 N Line. Models like Creta and Venue continue to be popular, with wait times of many months.

However, while Hyundai has performed well in various regions outside of India, the brand's online search outperforms competitors in just a few other nations - Colombia and Argentina, to be precise. Even when it comes to internet searches, Toyota remains the undisputed world leader. In nations like as Australia, Russia, Japan, and other South American and African countries, it is the most sought car brand.

China is the world's largest automotive and electric vehicle market, and while people' internet actions are closely monitored, the above-mentioned report finds that Tesla leads online searches in China.Across the Pacific, Americans and Canadians used their smart phones to seek for Ford, while Mexicans looked for Nissan.

BMW topped internet interest in the United Kingdom and several western European countries. BMW was also the most sought after brand in South Africa. Audi and Volvo are only available in a few western European countries.
