Recently it has been confirmed that only 20% of the tough questions will be coming in the papers of the board exams of class X and XII. On Children's Day, the School Education Board has decided to change the pattern of question papers, giving great relief to the students of the state. Where 40 % easy and 40 % average questions are asked under this. No questions will come from the model test paper in the board examinations. On Thursday, Suresh Soni, Chairman of the Board of School Education gave this information at a press conference held at Lalpani School in the capital Shimla.

The board president said that question papers will be given in three series. There will be a similar pattern in all three series. Teachers serving ten years of regular service will make paper. For this, from 1800 to 2300 rupees will be given to these teachers. Earlier, 1200 to 1500 rupees were given. Now the school principal will not be able to go to the paper hall as an inspector. This change has taken place to properly assess the students in the board examinations.

According to the information received, the board president told that no question will come out of the syllabus. The first question bank will be prepared. After that, there will be paper setting. The board claims that this change is bringing about good results for average students. The same board held the State Open School (SOS) workshop at Lalpani School on Thursday. The board president said that 230 study centers will be run in government schools of SOS and 35 in private schools.

Jal Shakti Abhiyan will start in schools: According to the information received, due to the problems of study center, IT and teachers were discussed in the workshop. The coordinator and Principal of SOS Study Center of District Solan, Sirmaur, Shimla and Kinnaur are going to be involved in the workshop.

According to sources, the board president told that 'Jal Shakti Abhiyan' will be run in schools. In this, students will be told how to conserve water. Under the campaign, tanks of up to ten feet will be constructed in schools from about 1 crore.
